I saved for a whole summer to buy that first camera.
It was a cheap point-and-shoot film camera, but for me, it opened up the world. I started considering the way I viewed life through the lens. What a beautiful thing!
Between forcing my siblings to model for me and consistently flipping through the pages of my dad's office supply catalogs (dreaming of one day owning a business), I guess you could say it was meant to be...
