Anne & Scott’s Fun and Relaxed Wedding at Lake Park Bistro in Milwaukee

Anne and Scott’s wedding at Lake Park Bistro in Milwaukee was everything they dreamed of: relaxed, genuine, and filled with good vibes. Overlooking Lake Michigan, the couple created a laid-back yet elegant cocktail party atmosphere, skipping the traditional fuss and focusing instead on what mattered most—celebrating with their favorite people.

How Anne & Scott Met

It all began with a swipe—or rather, a match on Hinge. Anne and Scott’s first date was at the Yacht Club, a cozy little bar in Denver. One drink led to another, and before they knew it, they’d visited three more bars, turning what could have been just another casual meetup into an epic first date. Clearly, something clicked right from the start.

The Proposal (With a Twist)

Anne and Scott’s engagement was less about a surprise and more about perfect timing. After running the NYC marathon together (talk about relationship goals), they picked out a stone for Anne’s ring. With the party date already set, they eagerly awaited the final ring’s arrival by mail. Scott seized the perfect moment to officially propose, dropping to one knee in the entryway of Lake Park Bistro, right before meeting Anne’s sister and brother-in-law for birthday dessert. The casual yet meaningful moment perfectly reflected their easygoing approach to life.

Wedding Day Highlights at Lake Park Bistro

Anne and Scott’s vision for their wedding was clear: no formalities, just a genuinely fun evening. Their choice of Lake Park Bistro offered the perfect backdrop—a charming venue overlooking Lake Michigan, creating a naturally stunning setting without needing much embellishment.

Instead of a traditional ceremony, Anne and Scott surprised guests by briefly pausing the cocktail party for a short, sweet, and heartfelt ceremony. It was intimate and real, leaving more room for laughter, celebration, and connection.

The result? A night where every guest felt at ease, laughter filled the room, and the focus stayed right where Anne and Scott wanted it—on celebrating with their closest friends and family.
