Becca and Mike’s Bowery Barn wedding was the ultimate nature-inspired wedding day. With rustic elements that were both timeless and elegant, Becca’s wedding vision was brought to life.

Becca and Mike met in college at a hockey game. Becca sat next to this guy who claimed his name was “Mike Cassanova,” and she just didn’t believe it was true until he brought out his ID to prove it. After sharing Mike & Ike’s during that hockey game, they quickly hit it off.

After dating for 8 years, Mike popped the question. Mike told it this way: “I wanted to catch her off guard so I didn’t even know until the day before I was going to propose. I brought her out hunting and got down on one knee when I thought she would least expect it.”

And Becca said, “In the middle of a family farm cornfield while hunting at sunset, he finally got down on one knee after 8 years of being together. He said, ‘When I first saw you, you were wearing camo. Now, when I ask you to marry me, you’re wearing camo too.'”

Oh, there were so many beautiful moments, but here are a few of our favorites:

Grandparent first looks. Becca knew it was a priority for her to have a very special moment with her grandparents. It was the absolute SWEETEST thing! You’ve GOT to go peek at those moments.

The furry ring bearer. Becca and Mike knew they needed to include their dog, Oakley, in the wedding day moments. He ran down the aisle right to Mike and sat so sweetly watching the entire ceremony.
