Katie & JR’s Club at Strawberry Creek wedding was the first beautiful Saturday we have had for our 2017 wedding season! As much as we love for our brides and grooms to get that extra blessing of rain, it certainly was enjoyable to have a bright, sun-shiny day to photograph Katie & JR’s wedding! We started the day at their Greek Orthodox Church, and it was so beautiful! During the ceremony, there was a single ray of sunshine that shone right onto Katie & JR. It was gorgeous (and it must’ve been their extra blessing since there wasn’t any rain on their day). 🙂

After their ceremony, we had to stop by their house so we could get pictures with Cronk. He had THE. MOST. ADORABLE. wedding day outfit known to dogs. 🙂 From there we headed to their Club at Strawberry Creek wedding reception. That venue could quickly become one of our new favorites. It’s beautiful inside and out. Katie & JR added so many personal touches to their reception, including Irish dancers! Katie used to do Irish dancing, so she had them come to their wedding and do a little dancing for their guests! But of course she couldn’t let them have all of the fun so she, along with her dad and a few close friends, got up to jig as well! It was fantastic!

The rest of the evening was celebrated with singing, dancing, good food, and great company! I loved the few minutes we got to walk around the Club at Strawberry Creek to get a few more pictures of the two of them alone. Like I said, it could easily become one of our new favorites. 🙂 Katie & JR’s wedding day was beautiful, and they were radiant together. Katie’s Aunt & Uncle won the anniversary dance (60 years!), and it just so happened to be her birthday, so Katie & JR had a surprise birthday cake waiting for her!
