Juliana & Michael
DoubleTree Downtown Milwaukee Wedding
Juli & Mike are special people. They are two people who are filled to the full with kindness and gentleness. Being a part of their DoubleTree downtown Milwaukee wedding was a joy and honor. These two marked the last wedding of our 2017 busy season (we’ve got a few more weddings sprinkled through November and December, but Juli & Mike’s wedding was our last of an eight-wedding-in-seven-weeks streak). We could not imagine a better way to finish our last set of weddings than to spend the day alongside these beautiful humans.
Juli & Mike are faith-filled people who live out the love they believe in. This was so evident throughout their wedding day as we observed them always looking out for others and desiring that their friends and family would thoroughly enjoy this great celebration. As you watch Juli & Mike together, it’s obvious that they are the other’s best friend. Mike gave an absolutely touching tribute to Juli at dinner (pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room). He so poetically spoke of her love for him and how, even through difficult life circumstances and health issues, in times when it’s easy to become discouraged, Juli gives him the strength to soar. She, likewise, spoke of how truly honored and overjoyed she was to be marrying her best friend. (<– And that, my friends, is why we do this “job” of wedding photography! There is nothing more beautiful than best friends turned husband and wife!)
The friends and family who surrounded Juli & Mike on their wedding day were, likewise, joy-filled individuals who were happy to support Mike & Juli on their special day. After the ceremony at their home parish, the party commenced back at the DoubleTree hotel with amazing food, a custom-designed cake, and a Scottish DJ to keep the festive dancing going! Enjoy these favorites from Juli & Mike’s DoubleTree Downtown Milwaukee wedding. 🙂
