Katelyn & Eric’s Golden Mast Inn Wedding was one memorable celebration. With family and friends who traveled across the country (there were almost TWENTY states represented!!), there was an abundance of joy, laughter, and merriment. The day began for the ladies at a local hotel, where the bustle of the morning was met with nervous excitement. Katelyn & Eric’s first look took place on the dock at their venue, The Golden Mast Inn. It was a beautiful, hot day with bright shiny sun. The bridal party rocked it with their photos, and then we headed inside to await the ceremony.

Katelyn & Eric had such a beautiful ceremony that was so personal and incredibly touching. They both wrote their own vows (which in themselves were tear-jerkers), but to add to the emotion, Katelyn’s best friend for years officiated the ceremony. There was such a personal touch added from that aspect, and it made every part of the ceremony just perfect.

It was an absolutely beautiful day to get married. Katelyn & Eric’s guests enjoyed cocktail hour either outside in the sunshine or inside the beautiful Golden Mast Inn in the air conditioning (the best of both worlds!). Katelyn & Eric created a lake theme for their tables and decor, which was another personal touch. Since moving to the Lake Country area from out of state, these two have thoroughly enjoyed all the lakes have to offer, and they wanted to incorporate that into their wedding day.

There were many touching speeches that followed during dinner, and the family and friends of Katelyn & Eric were very energetic (and ready to party) on the dance floor! Before everything got going, though, one of K+E’s guests boated them over to the island across from the Golden Mast. We were able to grab a few extra sunset photos of them in that unique location (not many people get island sunset photos!), and then the party resumed in full force! Sound by Design led the dance floor for the remainder of the evening; and it was the perfect celebration for the perfect day!
