Monet & Sam’s

Monet & Sam planned a beautiful wedding for themselves & their guests. They knew the pieces of the day that were important to them, and they made sure that those were perfect. We began the day at Hotel Metro where they were all getting ready, and the men took their turn first at some pre-wedding photos. Then we spent time with Monet and her bridesmaids as they were finishing up their prep for the day. We loved the unique colorful bridesmaids dresses and the colorful, farm-grown flowers that coordinated with them!

Monet & Sam wanted to wait to see each other at the aisle. The church was beautiful, and the most adorable flower girls led the way. With too many flowers in their baskets by the time they got to the end of the aisle, the only logical thing for them to do was to empty their basket to make sure their job was complete. It was the most adorable and humorous candid moment! Monet walked in after the comic relief, and she and Sam were simply so happy to see each other. The ceremony that followed was beautiful and personal. And then it was official – husband & wife!

We took Sam & Monet down to the lakefront to grab a few photos of just the two of them between the ceremony & reception. While we were walking around the beautiful Veteran’s Park area, we had to stop by THE spot where Sam actually proposed to Monet! I love that we were able to connect the links in their story and bring it full circle with just an image; that’s the beauty of photography! 🙂 The remainder of the day was spent at the Grace Center, which was a lovely venue for their reception. The food was fantastic, and the band was so much fun! It was important for Monet & Sam to create a great party for their guests, and their guests definitely enjoyed the dance floor!

We were SO happy to get such an exquisite sunset. It’s one of those things you hope for (at least we do), and these skies were stunning. It was a perfect end to their beautiful Grace Center Milwaukee wedding day. Monet & Sam traveled around the world for their honeymoon, and we are so excited for the adventures they’ll continue to have as husband and wife. Here are a few of our favorites from their day.
