Hay Loft Barn Wedding

Katie & Jacob are two of the most loving and caring people you’ll meet. Their Hay Loft Barn Wedding was perfect, and they are now officially married! Their wedding day was a culmination of so many moments and memories together as they, surrounded by family and friends, made their vows to each other. The weather could not have been more perfect. Though the sky threatened rain nearly all day, it thankfully waited until the outdoor ceremony was complete! The colors in the sky itself were incredible; we just LOVE the rich blues and the gorgeous clouds in these images!

Katie & Jacob actually don’t remember their first date because they were such good friends for so long. They met in college and spent years as friends, so when they started officially dating, they both knew almost immediately that they wanted to get married. Katie says that their “Mutual Weirdness Forever” cake topper pretty much sums them up perfectly. We love that quote from Dr. Seuss that says, “We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.” It’s a true test of love when you can enjoy each other’s weirdness! 🙂

Katie & Jacob’s Hay Loft Barn wedding day started out at Jacob’s parent’s historic Watertown home where the girls finished getting ready. After Katie got into her dress and experienced the “this-is-getting-real” moment, the wedding party headed over to The Hay Loft Barn where Katie & Jacob got to SEE each other for the first time! It’s always so wonderful to get to capture the first look moments for our bride & groom. When they set eyes on each other, Katie & Jacob were pure joy & excitement. From that time on, they were able to enjoy all the moments of their day as they played out. From the beautiful ceremony overlooking an immaculately kept green lawn to the cocktail hour chatting with friends and family; from the speeches, tributes, and toasts to the first dance as husband and wife; from the yummy food to the sunset photos with the most beautiful colors surrounding them, Jacob & Katie had a fabulous wedding day.
