Meredith & Chris’ Intercontinental Milwaukee Wedding day was as unique and elegant as these two are together. Chris & Meredith have their own language. It’s hard to explain, but it’s so amazing to witness. Meredith is spunky and sweet. Chris is steady and strong. The two of them together compliment each other in so many ways, and their wedding day story is pretty spectacular. Getting ready, Meredith was as cool as a cucumber. Nothing but smiles and excitement radiated from her; and before she was even finished getting dressed, she was already the most beautiful bride. Chris was nervous… but it was the kind of nervous that is just SO excited to get going and get married! Joking around with his groomsmen kept him focused and relaxed. The fact that they had close family and friends surrounding them in their bridal party is a testimony of the deep and true friendships they have in their lives.

Getting married at St. Casimir Church in Milwaukee, they found Riverwest Stein Beer, which actually showcases their church in the beer’s logo. It was a fun little detail to incorporate into the day. Meredith’s adorable blue shoes, locket with her grandfather’s pictures (oh-my-goodness, wait until you see her grandmothers’ faces when she showed them the locket!), and her lace hankie were some beautiful, meaningful details that allowed us to tell their full wedding story. The church in and of itself was absolutely beautiful. We took some lovely bridal portraits in the upstairs balcony of the church, and Meredith was stunning on her big day! When it came time for the ceremony to begin, I don’t think we will ever forget the biggest, most genuine smiles that Meredith and Chris simultaneously gave at the first sight of the other. It was pure excitement + true love.

After the ceremony, we headed off to a few different locations that Chris & Meredith had discovered. Wow, they did an amazing job finding great places to take pictures! We were so impressed with these two and their lovely and hilarious wedding party! We definitely also need to give a HUGE shout out to Chris’ family for the amazing job they did on all of the flowers! All of the decorations were done by family members; what a gift! As we love to do, we finished Meredith & Chris’ Intercontinental Milwaukee Wedding with a few outside shots after dark. I love how these couple extra minutes give that final bookend for the wedding day, and who can resist the romantic lights of Milwaukee? (Not us!)
