February in Wisconsin can be unpredictable. On Jackie and Mike’s wedding day, it delivered the best kind of surprise: a fresh coat of snow that made everything feel quiet, bright, and completely beautiful.
Their lakeside Wisconsin wedding unfolded on one of those crisp winter days where the air feels sharp but the scenery makes it worth stepping outside. Snow lined the lake, rooftops were dusted white, and by blue hour, the sky turned soft shades of lavender and blush over the frozen shoreline.
Inside, the celebration was warm, joyful, and full of intention.
Jackie and Mike met on Bumble in August of 2021. Jackie almost let the match expire. With ten minutes left on the clock, she sent a simple “hey,” and Mike responded immediately.
Their first date involved splitting a pizza at a quiet sports bar and both agreeing to toppings they did not actually care for. Jackie insists she did not speed out of the parking lot afterward, though Mike may remember it differently.
What mattered most was how easy it felt. From Culver’s custard nights to Cubs games, mini golf dates, and trips abroad, their relationship has always blended fun and comfort in the best way.
On a Labor Day trip to Grand Haven, Michigan, Mike planned a proposal disguised as a casual morning walk before breakfast. Jackie suspected something, especially when he suggested getting dressed up for what was supposed to be a walk.
At the end of the path, with the harbor behind them, he got down on one knee. She may have spotted the photographer first, but that did not make the moment any less meaningful. The rest of the day was spent celebrating and FaceTiming family and friends.
Jackie and Mike set out with two goals: become Mr. and Mrs. and enjoy every minute. They did exactly that.
Visually, the day balanced winter elegance with warmth. Forest green bridesmaid dresses popped beautifully against the snow, champagne accents added softness, and Jackie’s faux fur wrap was both practical and perfectly styled for February.e who have known each other for years choosing forever.
Your wedding day felt exactly like you. Relaxed. Personal. Full of care for the people around you.
You created an experience where guests felt welcomed, included, and genuinely part of the celebration. And through it all, you stayed present and enjoyed it.
Thank you for braving the snow, trusting the process, and allowing us to document the beginning of this next chapter.
Here’s to lakeside winters, Cubs games, wine nights, and a marriage that stays just as fun as it started 🤍

A lakeside Wisconsin wedding in February brings a completely different kind of beauty. Fresh snow transforms familiar landscapes into something quiet and striking. When paired with warm indoor spaces and intentional planning, winter weddings feel intimate in a way summer celebrations cannot quite replicate.
Jackie and Mike’s day was proof that cold weather does not limit a celebration. It enhances it.
