Josey and Josiah enjoyed a beautiful wedding day at the 1896 Room at the Club at Lac La Belle. The day was relaxed and filled with joy. Josey and Josiah love each other beautifully, and it was so evident that they were simply thrilled to be getting married!

Josey and Josiah met through mutual friends and family at a local trivia night. While they didn’t talk much at that initial meeting, they both felt slightly interested in the other. Josey was then completing schooling out of state, so that initial meeting didn’t go anywhere. However, when the spring of 2020 came along, Josey decided to head back home to Wisconsin to wait out what became the worldwide pandemic. Something GREAT came out of the spring of 2020, though, and it was the fact that these two had the chance to reconnect.

Their first date was an eight-and-a-half mile walk where they never stopped talking. As Josey recalls, “at the end of the walk, Josiah had two more surprises: a bouquet of white and yellow flowers, and a Rice
Krispie treat to share — unknowingly one of the only desserts I can have due to my food allergies. It’s safe to say that two weeks later we were officially dating, and less than two years later we got engaged! It was the start to many more walking dates, road trips, bonfires, beach trips, and adventures that haven’t stopped coming.”
