Lake Windsor Golf Club Wedding

Beth & Brett’s Lake Windsor Golf Club wedding day was a celebration of how their love first got started. They met in high school in an advanced gym class for student athletes, and Beth gathered up the courage to ask Brett to the girls-ask-guys winter formal dance. According to Brett, he was (and still is) surprised that such a beautiful, kind, and athletic girl would ask him to the dance. Of course he said yes! 🙂 Luck would have it that they got snowed in after the dance at a friend’s house. So instead of going their separate ways, they talked the night away into the early hours of the morning. The rest is history. From that point on, they were inseparable.  When Beth graduated and spent her first year of college at UW-La Crosse playing basketball, their relationship grew to a new level. The next year, Beth joined Brett at UW-Madison, and they are Wisconsin Badgers to the core! Brett plays for the Wisconsin Badger’s Football team as an offensive lineman (so it was pretty fun to see the offensive line at the wedding).

On their wedding day, Beth & Brett, along with their family and friends enjoyed reminiscing over that first date five years before while celebrating their new journey into marriage. From the fresh snowfall to the way they looked at each other all day long, it was the perfect reminder of that snowy night almost five years before. The Lake Windsor Golf Club was a beautiful venue to celebrate a winter wedding. The snow fell steadily all day long, offering us the most beautiful winter views wherever we looked. From their first look moment through their hand-written vows and late into the celebration at the end of the night, their day was everything they’d hoped it would be.

We loved being a part of their Lake Windsor Golf Club wedding day. It was so fun to have a winter wedding where we could actually take the flowers outside too! 🙂 Enjoy a few of our favorites from their beautiful winter wedding celebration, and congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Connors!
