Lake Winnebago Engagement Session with Jessica & Travis

I love it when clients choose to do their engagement session at a location that is truly meaningful to them, and that’s why I love Jessica & Travis’ Lake Winnebago Engagement session so much! Jessica chose this spot because her family has a cabin on Lake Winnebago. It is such an adorable place – set back from the main road right on the lake looking directly west into the sunset. I’m sure Jessica’s family has spent many evenings spent gazing at a colored sky as the sun said goodnight. It was a beautiful evening for our session. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, and the sun was bright. Having rescheduled our past engagement date because of the threat of thunderstorms and rain, this night was just about perfect! We started off our session at a nearby park, which gave us lots of varying backdrops to work with, including the most amazing lighthouse/outlook tower. After a few great shots here, we raced the sunset back to Jessica’s family cabin, where we snatched the last bit of light for a few more images. Here are a few of my favorites!
