Guys, hold onto your seats for this Lapham Peak Camping Engagement session! I’m not going to lie, this has been one of my favorite sessions of the year. I love, love, LOVE all of the camping inspiration that Mike & Cassaundra put into styling their engagement session. And if I’m being honest, when I set out to meet them at Lapham Peak State Park, I was feeling a little drained by the busy season of being a wedding photographer in the summer time. 🙂 The driving, the editing, the lack of sleep… it was getting me down. But the fantastic part? Being with these two, doing what I love, capturing the essence of who they are together, put life back into my spirit! I left with a huge smile.

Mike & Cassaundra love to camp and hike. So when we set about to plan their styled engagement session, they knew just what they wanted. We hiked the trails of Lapham Peak and spent a little while hauling all of our stuff while trying to find the *one* camping site at the park where we could light a campfire. Thankfully, Mike had us covered there (see his victorious picture below)! And it was just altogether a wonderful time photographing two people who are sweet, kind, and so in love. So if you’re having a tired, dreary day, check out these pictures.
