Courtney & Jon’s Marcus Center Wedding was a day filled with fun-loving laughter and lots of love! Their story began on a random weekend when two groups of friends got together from across the country. Courtney was with her friends in Chicago for Lollapalooza, and Jon was living in Chicago at the time. After they met through mutual friends, they ended up spending most of the day together. They had such an amazing time and realized such a connection with each other, that Jon flew from Chicago to Kansas City the very next weekend to see Courtney again. It was love at first sight, and they immediately decided to pursue the relationship, even across the country! After making it work long-distance for a year, Courtney decided to make the move to Milwaukee, where Jon was.

In time, Jon made plans for a proposal. He thought through everything and planned a surprise trip for Courtney and him. To make sure nothing got in the way of his plans, he even created a fake charity event (complete with a flyer) for the day of their departure! When the time came, Courtney was working from home. (She was also planning on the charity event for that evening.) Jon came into the home office, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. She said YES, and then they packed up and headed to NYC for the surprise trip!

Their Milwaukee wedding day was stunning from start to finish. They got ready at Saint Kate hotel across the street from the Marcus Center, where their reception would be. They opted for a first look right before the ceremony at St. Hedwig. (What a gorgeous church!) Following the ceremony, the bridal party traveled around Milwaukee in a trolley, stopping for a few pictures. Then it was back to the Marcus Center for the celebrations! They had such a fun dinner, designed to reflect some of their favorite Milwaukee restaurants. Guests enjoyed lots of amazing food and great service. We especially loved Courtney and Jon’s AMAZING choreographed dance! (It was awesome!)

We just love Jon and Courtney’s love for each other. We loved the way they genuinely smiled at each other all day. There was so much happiness. Here are a few (hundred) 😉 of our favorites from their Marcus Center wedding day!
