Hallie & Brandon’s Milwaukee brunch wedding was one of the most uniquely planned weddings we have been a part of. These two planned a simple, elegant brunch wedding that was so much fun for everyone attending. With the beginning of the day set at the Brewhouse Inn & Suites, we captured some of the candid moments before everyone arrived at the Villa Terrace. The day before Hallie & Brandon’s Sunday wedding rained almost all day long, so it was surprising what a contrast the weather was on Sunday. It was bright, clear, and extremely colorful (as you’ll soon see in the images below). The colors burst from trees, the sky, the lake, and the venue – a perfect autumn wedding!

With a beautiful and personal ceremony that overlooked Lake Michigan, Hallie & Brandon made their promises to one another in front of family and friends. We loved the mix of emotions. The officiant said it best, having known Hallie for years: Hallie & Brandon are tough as nails on the outside, but tender and soft on the inside. In fact, we got many good laughs throughout the morning as stories were told about how Brandon & Hallie couldn’t stand one another when they first met at work. After a time, however, they soon realized that there was something incredibly special between the two of them. With the independent strength, they each have, it was beautiful to witness the tenderness (still mixed with lots of great humor) of their wedding day. What an amazing thing to have a best-friend-turned-spouse by your side as they do!

After the ceremony, guests mingled about in the stunning sunshine with drinks and appetizers. The beauty of the Villa Terrace is complete on its own, but Hallie & Brandon’s wedding day had such stunning weather and the most exquisite florals from Milwaukee Flower Co, that everything was such a treat to all the senses. Following the cocktail hour, guests were seated for their delicious brunch meal. Hallie’s father gave the most touching speech, making possibly everyone cry (including us). 🙂 There’s something so tender about a father’s love for his daughter, and it was so special to witness their relationship as father and daughter. We could go on and on about everyone involved in Hallie & Brandon’s Milwaukee brunch wedding. The wedding party (comprised of Brandon’s sons as his best men, Brandon & Hallie’s siblings & friends) was incredibly supportive and kind. Brandon’s mother was a sweet, quiet supporter; and Hallie’s mother was a bright spot in the day as well. It was wonderful to see how excited everyone was for Hallie & Brandon’s wedding day.
