We’ve got such a special blog post for you today! Gina & Matt’s Minocqua Wisconsin wedding was filled with the beauty of the great outdoors and the beauty of their love. We just loved every moment of this wedding day, from the quiet prep time to the energetic dance party at the end of the night. Matt & Gina love the outdoors, and they knew that they wanted to incorporate their love for adventure, fly fishing, and recreation into the most special day of their life, so they planned a destination wedding to the great up north!

One of the most important aspects of photography for their wedding day was begin able to capture the essence of being up north: the tall majestic pines, the greenery, and space, it was all-important to why they chose to be married in Minocqua. Matt, being an avid fly fisherman, incorporated flies into each of the groomsmen’s bouquets, and the beautiful flowers were the perfect compliment to the ladies’ dresses and the majestic backdrop. Their ceremony was officiated by a close friend, and underneath those tall pines, they made their touching vows to each other.

Gina & Matt are simply perfect together. It’s an incredible thing to be able to witness the love & devotion two people have for each other, and these two are absolutely best friends. You can see it in the way they look at each other, laugh with one another, and are simply able to “be” when they’re together. Their family and friends had an amazing weekend celebrating with them up north, from the outdoor ceremony to the many touching speeches and tributes, from the serene landscape to the energetic dance floor at the end of the night. Everything panned out perfectly for Gina & Matt’s Minocqua wedding, and we couldn’t be happier that we were able to be there with them.
