Monona Terrace Wedding
Emily & John
Emily & John are two of the kindest hearts. Their Monona Terrace wedding was a beautiful compilation of their quiet personalities and their deep love and connection to each other. Besides the fact that their names exactly match ours (what are the chances?!) we loved spending the day with Emily & John as we watched their new adventure unfold. Emily wrote the ceremony which her brother officiated. The bright sunflower florals by daffodil*parker gave a beautiful accent to the ceremony space, and Emily & John chose varied readings which were touchingly read by their friends and family members. One special reading was a letter written from Emily’s late grandmother, with whom she shared both a birthday and a special bond. It was the strings of these meaningful moments throughout the day that made is such a perfect celebration.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Monona Terrace, which was a fantastic location for getting some beautiful images taken by the Capitol and also overlooking the lake. All of the members of Emily & John’s wedding party couldn’t have been happier for their friends. The speeches and tributes given by the bride’s father, the matron of honor, and the best men were so deep and meaningful. (I shed my own share of happy tears!) 🙂
Everything about this day was filled with the kindness of Emily & John’s friends and family I don’t think we’ve had a more grateful group of people to spend a wedding day with. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to share some of these sweet and special moments of Emily & John’s first day as husband and wife! Enjoy a few of our favorites from their Monona Terrace Wedding!
