Preslee & Sean’s spring wedding at The Oaks was an ideal spring day. The sun was shining, the weather was warm, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Overlooking the hills of The Oaks Golf Course, they made their vows to each other in the presence of family and friends.

We loved hearing the story of how Preslee & Sean met:

Preslee’s POV – “We technically first met when we matched on Hinge, but I really wasn’t into the whole online dating thing. A couple of months later though we met in person at a wedding — my high school friend married his high school friend. At the wedding, our mutual friends and the groom’s parents thought that Sean and I would be a good match, and it turned into what seemed like everyone at the wedding playing matchmaker. Sean asked me to dance with him, but I was still a little hesitant and felt like everyone was watching us. The next day, I found him on Hinge and thought I’d try and see if he was interested in meeting up for drinks (after a night of kind of running away from him). Luckily he was still interested. We went on our first date that following Friday and we have been together ever since!”

Sean’s POV – “I moved back to Madison in the summer of 2019 and joined online dating soon after. After a few weeks of not finding anything I was too interested in, I finally came across this cute blonde named Preslee. We matched! Unfortunately, she never responded to my messages (she claims she was not good at the whole online dating thing) so I very sadly moved on. Then a few weeks later, we match again! Still crickets from her. Fast forward a couple of months at a friend’s wedding, a mutual friend tells me I NEED to meet her friend Preslee. I immediately think of the “Hinge Preslee” as it’s a pretty unique name. Sure enough, she points her out, and it’s her! And to top it all off, she’s finishing up a cupcake from the dessert station (if anyone knows me, I LOVE desserts). Love at first sight. By this time, I’d built up some liquid confidence and asked her to dance with me. She played pretty hard to get the whole night and we went our separate ways. I am thinking she’s gone forever when a notification from Hinge pops up. Its Preslee! She asked how my day was going and said she’d love to meet up again for drinks. We both agreed meeting up for drinks without the pressure of an entire wedding was the best idea! The rest is history.”

It’s safe to say that Preslee didn’t have any issue dancing with Sean at this wedding! These two fit flawlessly together, and it’s easy to see how happy they make each other.
