Rachel and Armani | Halverson House Wedding

WOW. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of Rachel and Armani’s Halverson House wedding. The level of detail, love, and overall beauty that went into this day is something extraordinary.

Rachel and Armani met when they were both 17, set up by a mutual friend. Armani tells it best here: “I picked Rachel up from her parent’s house, never meeting her before or knowing what she looked like other than pictures on social media. We went to dinner at Louises Italian restaurant and had a great time, great conversation, and laughter. Mind you when I picked her up I had met both her Mom and Dad, both brothers, and even her uncle Joe. Her uncle Joe tried to act tough and scare me and even made the joke, ‘Have fun, hope your car doesn’t break down.’ After dinner, on the way home, my car did in fact break down. Luckily enough, I was able to get Rachel back home on time and the car breaking down was a memory that neither Rachel or I will ever forget.”

Rachel tells about the engagement here: “We had been dating for 7 YEARS!! To say that I was waiting for this was an understatement. In October we had gone to Door County/Washington Island for the weekend and I was positive it was happening that weekend! I had outfits planned for every single day waiting for him to pop the question. Well… he didn’t lol. Then, right after Christmas, we were headed to Nashville. We drove for 8 hours to get to Nashville. We couldn’t check into our Airbnb for a few hours, so we had planned to head to this beautiful waterfall/mountain we knew was going to be in the area. Mind you… we just drove for 8 hours, I haven’t showered, nor do I have makeup on. We went hiking around this beautiful waterfall and then decided to climb up this bluff/mountain. I was so sweaty and literally huffing and puffing by the time I made it up there. As I was recording a video of the view, I turned around and he was on his knee. The video I was recording actually caught him asking me to marry him (and my gasp)! I truly was not expecting it at that moment. He did so amazingly with the ring! It is stunning! We got back down the truck and called all of our important family and friends to tell them! We then got to spend the next few days in a gorgeous Airbnb and the fun town of Nashville.”

Their wedding day was stunning. We had the most delightful weather, and Rachel and Armani were the FIRST couple to get to use the newest ceremony spot at Halverson House. Ooooh, yeah, it was stunning.
