Anna & Jacob | Red Circle Inn
Anna and Jacob’s Red Circle Inn Delafield wedding was filled with so much sweetness. These two have such sweet love and devotion for one another. They are a joy to be around, and it is a joy to observe the way they care for each other. Anna & Jake are high school sweethearts who met in history class! When they went to college, they both ended up several states away! During their long-distance relationship years, they came to understand that they wanted to be together forever. So it was during a trip to Munich, Germany, that Jake pulled out a ring and asked Anna to marry him! After seven years of dating, they were so excited to celebrate their marriage alongside family and friends.
We started the day at Jake’s parent’s house, where there was a room full of engineers of various kinds. Jake is an aerospace engineer, and all of his groomsmen were engineers as well. Let me tell you, these guys were so organized; we were completely impressed! 🙂 After capturing some of Jake’s details and his getting-ready moments, we drove over to their church a couple of blocks away where Anna was getting ready.
Like Jake, Anna is the epitome of the sweetness of every kind. She is hard-working (in the middle of pharmacy school!), soft-spoken, kind, and patient. Watching her get ready for her wedding was a beautiful experience as she took everything in with a smile. Having recently lost her mother to a brave battle with cancer, there was a poignant sense of love and loss mixed with so much excitement and joy. Anna’s mother was able to help her pick out her wedding dress, and Anna kept a rosary and picture of her mother on her bouquet so that she was as close as possible all day long.
Anna & Jake exchanged letters before their ceremony, and that’s always a beautiful and personal moment. It helps calm nerves and heightens the excitement of seeing each other. Anna and Jake’s ceremony was a traditional Catholic ceremony inside a beautiful, naturally-lit church in Waukesha. We loved watching them soak up the moments as they became husband and wife. Following the ceremony and family pictures, the wedding party headed over to Frame Park, which was a special place for Anna & Jake, as Anna attended Carroll College close by. It was a gorgeous spot and made for some amazing images. The remainder of the evening was celebrated at The Red Circle Inn. The speeches were hilarious, touching, and energetic; and the dance that followed was the same. We especially loved how Anna & Jake opened up each of the father-daughter and mother-son dances to invite others into these special dances. It made for some precious images.
We were so honored to be a part of Anna & Jake’s big day. They are two of the sweetest humans alive! 🙂 Enjoy these favorites from their Red Circle Inn Delafield wedding!
