The Farm at Dover wedding that Emily & David planned was one of the most stunning wedding days that we’ve had the privilege to photograph. There were flowers for days on end, it seemed, and it made everything about their perfect day even more gorgeous.

Emily & David met their freshman year in high school, in driver’s ed, of all classes. They were both immediately drawn to one another. As they began their relationship at such a young age, they were able to fall in love with many aspects of each other’s character and personalities. David loves Emily’s compassion and energy, and Emily loves David’s empathy and humor. They’ve gone through both high school and college together and continued to grow closer through it all. The Farm at Dover wedding day they celebrated was simply the next step in their adventure.

The Farm at Dover is full of so much character, and it was the perfect place for Emily & David to invite their friends and family as they made their vows to each other. As Emily got ready in the pink Victorian house, David was getting ready in the Groom’s Cabin. With family and friends by their side, they put on their wedding outfits and made their finishing touches. Under the canopy of trees, David waited to see Emily for the first time as she walked down the aisle. The joy and emotion on their faces when they saw each other for the first time speaks to the depths of their love for each other. Their ceremony was so beautiful with their personalized vows and promises to each other, and Emily’s sister sang beautifully during the lighting of their unity candle.

After the ceremony, the celebration began in the barn. The speeches were both hilarious and touching, special tributes to Emily and David as individuals and as the couple they are. After sneaking outside for a few golden hour photographs, the dance party officially started, and we were so impressed by the energy of this crew! They danced for hours on end, never tiring and always ready for the next song!

At the end of the night, Emily & David headed off in the Bentley to their Hawaii honeymoon with a sparkler send-off! It was truly an epic day from start to finish. We love these favorites from their Farm at Dover wedding!
