You’d never know that it was a cloudy and cold day for Tiffany & Joseph’s styled lakeside engagement session in Grant Park. The early spring weather that taunted us into thinking she was here to stay was absent for this session, but the love these two have for each other provides all the warmth these images need!

(And I haven’t even started telling you their story yet!)

They met at a summer camp in central Wisconsin. Tiffany was picky when it came to choosing someone to date, so she knew that once she did, it would be a serious thing. Enter Joseph. According to her, Joe’s not really her type; she is the fire, and he is the ice. So falling for him took her by surprise.

(Don’t you love it when opposites attract?!)

When we started planning their styled session, we really wanted to focus on the things that made their relationship strong, and being that they spent five of the six years of their relationship hundreds of miles apart (Joe in Minnesota, and Tiffany in Wisconsin), this became the focus of our story. As fate would have it, the distance was no deterrent for their love. Handwritten love letters and late night phone calls only made it more clear that they were committed to each other. Now that they are no longer miles apart, Tiffany & Joe get to joyfully toast to their future together and everything that is ahead in this journey.
