Wind Point Lighthouse Engagement with Katie & JR:

Katie, JR, and Cronk were perfect together in their Wind Point Lighthouse engagement session. After getting rained out of our first engagement session and location, Katie & JR had to come up with a different idea for us on another day. Fortunately, they thought of Wind Point Lighthouse in Racine; and I’m SO glad they introduced me to this place. It is absolutely gorgeous! I really had to keep myself from geeking out right then and there. I think we could’ve spent a whole day there photographing, but alas, life must go on. 🙂

Katie and JR are super special to me because the first time we met, I actually “met them” at the wrong coffee shop. Seriously, it was one of those evenings when absolutely everything went wrong (the kind of evening you have nightmares over, you know?). Yes, I went to the wrong place to meet them. Then it took me forEVER to find a parking spot to meet them at the right coffee shop (turns out it was the first night of Summerfest… oops!). And yet when I walked in, they greeted me with the kindest smiles and true grace, for which I’m truly thankful! It told me a lot about their character right away – they are genuine and truly kind. They are the same when you see them interacting together as well: real smiles, real love and real kindness. If that weren’t enough, there is Cronk! Who can say enough about this little guy (especially with his amazing outfits)?! What a perfect addition he was to our engagement session.

Katie & JR, thanks for the amazing time together at Wind Point Lighthouse! I loved every minute with you two and Cronk! Looking forward to more fun with the three of you at your wedding!!!
