Christine and Scott’s Boerner Botanical Gardens engagement session was full of so much fun and laughter. These two people are so joyous and simply fun to be around. They love to have a great time together, and they make each other smile and laugh continually. We planned their Boerner Botanical Gardens engagement session around the idea of “Homegrown Love.” These two grew up in the same hometown and shared much in common before they even knew each other! Isn’t it amazing how life sets our course in motion, and when we can see the journey we’ve traveled, it all makes sense. These two were meant for each other.
Scott and Christine actually met at a co-worker’s retirement party. Being about the only two people of the same age at the event, they quickly connected and started realizing how much they had in common (they grew up in the same hometown and went to the same high school – who knew?!). A few months later, Christine gave Scott the date idea of coffee on a Sunday. Unfortunately for Scott, there weren’t many coffee shops open near them on a Sunday, so he spent considerable time trying to find one that would work. The work was well spent, though, since they sat for hours talking about past, present, and future. And that future has led to this – a joyous marriage of two sweet, considerate, kind people who love others and love each other.
