Sara & Dave’s Boerner Botanical Gardens Wedding
Happiness is the word that could sum up Sara & Dave’s entire wedding day. When we arrived at the church, the ladies were busy getting ready and making those finishing touches. The men arrived shortly after Sara was in her dress. With a few finishing touches, they were ready to see each other at the aisle. The ceremony was filled with emotion. One of the things Dave was looking forward to the most about his wedding day was seeing those doors open and Sara standing there. His emotion upon seeing her for the first time was perfect: anticipation followed by pure joy and happy tears. Sara’s emotion matched his as she walked toward him. The entire ceremony, each word spoken was heartfelt. Sara & Dave stared into each other’s eyes as they intentionally made their vows.
The pastor made an interesting comment during the ceremony that we loved. He mentioned that in a questionnaire he provided them, they both gave the same compliment about the other. They both said that one of the things they love most about the other person is the fact that they are caring and great listeners. How amazing is that?! A relationship built on mutually benefiting the other is one you know is built to last.
After the ceremony we headed to El Beso, a Mexican restaurant where Sara & Dave visit on a weekly basis. After a margarita and some relaxing conversation, we headed to Boerner Botanical Gardens for the reception. It was a gorgeous September day with lightly blowing winds and beautiful sunshine. We loved walking around the beautiful gardens to gather some images. Everyone there shared in Sara & Dave’s happiness. The friends & family who surrounded them were genuinely joyous at their union; you could see the support & care they have for Sara & Dave. The speeches echoed what the pastor said previously in the day as well. Sara & Dave love and care for each other in a special way.
It was an honor to capture these memories for them. Enjoy these favorites from Sara & Dave’s Boerner Botanical Gardens wedding.
