Danielle and Jason’s wedding at The Florian

Danielle and Jason’s wedding day was a beautiful, rainy, romantic day. What started out as a cloudy day with some sprinkles opened up into the most beautiful afternoon filled with sunshine.

Danielle didn’t let the weather phase her at all. She knew she wanted an outdoor wedding, and the weather cooperated. With steady romantic sprinkles, Danielle and Jason said, “I do!”

The Proposal

“We were currently building our first home in West Bend. One night, we had a dinner planned with my entire family near where we were building. In the week prior, the hole for the basement was dug, so I wanted to stop to look at the house on our way to dinner.

My mom and younger sister had helped me get ready for dinner (looking back now, this should have made me suspicious) and practically forced me out the door. When we got to the lot, I was in shock seeing how big the hole was.

I then grabbed my phone to take a picture of the lot to show my family at dinner. As I was putting my phone away, I looked down and noticed red things by my feet, and I asked Jason what they were for. This was when I noticed it was a trail of rose petals leading down to a white sheet laid out with candles on it.

I remember saying to Jason ‘When the heck did you come here if we were together all day?’ The rest is a blur, as I was so in shock and excited.”
