Jessica & Travis’ Florian Park Wedding in Germantown, Wisconsin

This beautiful mid-September wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. Jessica & Travis were so happy + relaxed all day long, soaking up every moment of their wedding day. We were so excited with how beautiful their venue was, perfectly suited for an outdoor ceremony and followed by a relaxed cocktail hour, an incredible dinner, and an energetic dance to finish it all off. We loved Jessica & Travis’ personal touches, including their hand-made guestbook, Jessica’s handmade jewelry, their S’more bar, personalized chalkboards, and their thoughtful gifts for each other.

We started the day at Country Inn & Suites right across from the Florian Park event center. Here, Jessica & her ladies made some final preparations for the day. John spotted a little brick pathway which made the perfect backdrop for some detail shots of Jessica’s important wedding items. Her jewelry, handmade by Travis’ aunt, was the perfect accessory for her gorgeous wedding dress. Jessica looked absolutely stunning! After all the preparations, they headed to Florian where Jessica got into her dress. (Some of my favorite moments of EVERY wedding day are the moments getting into that dress!) After Jessica & Travis exchanged their gifts, they opted for a first touch so that they could have a moment together before the ceremony without seeing one another.

Both Jessica & Travis were completely full of joy all day long. They both had a healthy dose of those pre-ceremony nerves followed by pure happiness. They enjoyed lots of laughter and truly enjoyed every facet of their wedding day. They seemed to be perfectly in each moment (which is definitely the place to “be” on your wedding day!); and when Jessica and Travis saw each other for the first time at the aisle, you couldn’t stop the happy tears. It was such a beautiful moment. Their outdoor ceremony was simply perfect. (We absolutely LOVE outdoor ceremonies!) The sun was shining – warm, but not too hot. The breeze was a perfect accompaniment. Jessica’s aunt was the officiant; and she did a marvelous job making the ceremony meaningful, enjoyable, and moving.

The rest of the day was spent enjoying all their venue had to offer. Some of our favorite moments/things of Jessica & Travis’ Florian Park wedding were (in no particular order): the most adorable ring bearer & flower girl, the emotions we saw from everyone when Jessica was walking down the aisle, and the parent dances at the end of the evening. Jessica & Travis’ wedding had some sweet moments we thoroughly enjoyed. Here’s a preview of a few of our favorites from their Florian Park wedding!
