Spring in Milwaukee has a way of arriving right on time when you need it to. The kind of afternoon where the light is warm, the air smells like something new, and everything feels like it’s been waiting to begin. That’s what Hannah and Camden’s wedding day at St. James 1868 felt like from the first hour to the last.
St. James 1868 is one of those venues that doesn’t need much help. The architecture does the work with its soaring ceilings, stained-glass windows, and intentional historic touches throughout. And in May, with Hannah’s hydrangeas and peonies filling the space, it felt both timeless and entirely unique.
Before the ceremony, they did a first touch which allowed them to share their personal vows before the big aisle moment they both were waiting for. They also protected their time together. That’s the thing that stood out most.
Hannah and Camden knew what they wanted most from their wedding day, and it was portraits of the two of them. Not the party, not the crowd, not the checklist. Each other. They made space for it, and that kind of intentionality is beautiful.
Congratulations, you two. The photos from your day at St. James are stunning, and we hope they take you right back to every moment. Here’s to the life you’re building together.
