It was such a joy to be a part of Melanie & Gage’s Park Hotel Madison wedding day. These two are so kind and so sweet. As high school sweethearts, they’ve been together through so many of life’s changes, and they’ve come out stronger and more in love on the other end. It was so much fun for us to walk beside them on their big day, observe these moments, and feel all of the love between the two of them and their family and friends. We had such a great day with a great group of people!

We began at the Blessed Sacrament Church where they all got ready for the big day. Melanie & Gage didn’t see each other until Melanie was walking down the aisle. That moment is always a huge favorite, and the looks on Melanie & Gage’s faces spoke volumes. The ceremony was very lovely, after which we headed to the Monona Terrace and Capitol areas for some more pictures before ending up at the Park Hotel. All the pieces of their wedding day came together perfectly, and the entire day was a huge celebration of all Melanie & Gage’s years together! After enjoying a little bit of the reception, we took Melanie & Gage out for a few sunset photos (!) and it was the PERFECT lighting. There’s something incredibly magical about photographing two people in love with the golden sun streaming through the images. 😉
