Emily & Jason’s Wild Rose Ranch Wedding

Emily and Jason’s Wild Rose Ranch wedding happened on a perfect winter’s day. We’ve known Emily for a handful of years, and to say that we were excited for this day to come is an understatement. Emily is one of those individuals who is unequivocally supportive and loving to everyone in her life. We were beyond thrilled to hear that she had found that special someone to spend her life with.

Emily and Jason met through mutual friends. After getting to know each other through long-distance messages (Indiana to Wisconsin!), they decided to meet in person. The mutual friends who connected them (also from Indiana) came up to Wisconsin with Jason to help their first meeting go as smoothly as possible. As Emily recalls, “Our first date was a double date with the friends that brought him up. We went to a restaurant downtown Dells. I then surprised them and took them to an old-time portrait studio. We ended the night listening to a band playing in the park. It was a fun night that I didn’t want to end. Our first date, just the two of us, was that night after milking. We went to Denny’s and got milkshakes and bacon. It was then that we decided we wanted to give this relationship thing a try even with the distance and a lot of uncertainty. I was drawn to him and was wishing the weekend wouldn’t end the next day.”

It didn’t take long for Emily & Jason to realize that this was a marriage-worthy relationship. When we met Jason, he impressed us immediately with his relaxed nature and obvious adoration for Emily. (One thing we knew was that the man who would marry Emily would have to be completely adoring of her, and Jason definitely passed that test!) 😉 These two are such a perfect pair, and we’re so excited to watch their journey continue in marriage. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Stark!
