Jamie and Jason’s Wisconsin Winter Wedding was truly one of a kind. Not only did their wedding day speak volumes about the love they have for each other and their guests, but their wedding was in the middle of a two-day snowstorm. Talk about a Wisconsin winter wedding! We shared a bit about how Jamie & Jason’s first date was at Colectivo in their coffee-inspired engagement session. From that time on, these two have only grown closer. Their true friendship and ability to laugh and talk with each other without effort is inspiring.
They prepared for their big day at the historic Knickerbocker on the Lake Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. With fresh white snow piled everywhere around them, it was picturesque to say the least. Jamie looked amazing in her wedding dress, and I absolutely love the pictures of Jason’s face when he saw his love in all of her splendor. With Christmas decorations surrounding them all day long, their Wisconsin winter wedding was filled with the special spirit of Christmastime. The decorations that filled the South Shore Pavilion were all hand crafted by Jason’s mother. The place settings on each table were sets of vintage plates, each bought from thrift stores and hand paired by Jamie and her mother. (Amazing!) And let’s not forget the coffee! Jamie and Jason kept the coffee theme going with the most adorable coffee gift favors for their guests.
It was an unforgettably beautiful day from start to finish. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Gonzalez!
I’m so in love with Jamie & Jason’s winter-meets-Milwaukee cake by Aggie’s Bakery! It is absolutely AMAZING with that Milwaukee skyline in the middle layer!!
